Q	Who should attend Freestyle Adult Golf Clinics and how are they taught?
A	Freestyle Adult Golf Clinics are designed for golfers new to the game or those who are returning after an extended absence. Freestyle clinics are taught by certified PGA and LPGA golf instructors who introduce each principal in an easy to understand manner. Fundamentals of the grip, stance, balance and rhythm are covered in each clinic. Clinic topics include demonstrations and hands-on guidance with plenty of time to practice and ask questions.
Q	I don't have any golf clubs or my equipment is very old. May I attend the Freestyle clinics anyway?
A	Haven't purchased your golf clubs yet? No problem. We will provide the latest in golf equipment at no extra charge. Just remind us to bring equipment for you and let us know your preference for right- or left-handed clubs.
Q	May I just "show up" for a scheduled clinic without contacting someone first?
A	Freestyle clinics may be cancelled for a variety of reasons (including weather, course maintenance, etc.) While we try to keep our published schedules up-to-date, last minute changes do occur from time-to-time. In order to keep you informed on schedule changes, please contact us in advance of a clinic you want to attend. If a clinic is cancelled for some reason, we'll be able to let you know and help you get on the roster for another class. Q	What are the options to purchasing Freestyle Adult Clinics?
A	We offer Freestyle Clinics in single and multiple clinic options: Purchase single clinics at $45 each. Multi-clinic pack of four (4) clinics in six (6) weeks for $140 - save $40! Multi-clinic pack of six (6) clinics in six (8) weeks for $180 - save $90!

Q	May I purchase a clinic option just prior to the start of a Freestyle Clinic?
A	Yes, pre-payment before the clinic date is not required. Please proceed to the main counter inside the Golf Shop at least 20 minutes prior to the clinic's start time. Tell the cashier which Freestyle Clinic you want to attend and if you want to save money by purchasing a multiple clinic option. See the Freestyle Clinic schedule here.

Where and when do I check-in for my Freestyle Clinic?

If you are redeeming a Gift Certificate or purchasing a Freestyle Clinic option on the day of the clinic, please check-in at least 20 minutes prior to the clinic's start time at the main counter inside the Golf Shop.

If you are using credit for one of your remaining clinics, please check-in with your instructor at the putting greens next to the Golf Shop 10 minutes prior to the clinic's start time.

May I purchase a clinic option in advance for myself (or a friend) over the phone or at the Golf Shop?

Yes. To buy a clinic option in advance, you may purchase a Gift Certificate in the amount that covers the cost of the clinic option you want, then redeem the gift certificate at the Golf Shop on the day of your (or your friend's) 1st clinic.

To purchase a Gift Certificate by phone, call the Golf Shop at (858)452-3226 and press option 2 to reach the main counter. If you are calling after hours, press 224 to reach the voice mailbox of the program administrator and please leave a detailed message including a phone number where you can be reached during normal business hours.

Q	Is there a time restriction on redeeming a Gift Certificate?
A	No. Gift Certificates purchased at the Golf Shop do not expire. After redeeming a gift certificate for a package of four or six clinics on the day of your 1st clinic, you will have credit "on the books" for the remaining clinics in your package.

Is there a time restriction on using my credit for remaining Freestyle Clinics?

Yes. Remaining credit for clinics purchased in a multi-clinic pack have an expiration date. Remaining credit for a package of four clinics must be used within six (6) weeks of your 1st attended clinic. Remaining credit for a package of six clinics must be used within eight (8) weeks of your 1st attended clinic. Any remaining credit for clinics not used by their expiration date WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Expiration dates may be extended if events at Torrey Pines significantly reduce the number of clinics we can offer over a period of time.

Q	What are my options if I purchase a Gift Certificate and later decide not to attend a Freestyle Clinic?
A	If you purchased a Gift Certificate and decide not to redeem it for a Freestyle Clinic, you may use the amount on the certificate towards the purchase of merchandise in the Golf Shop or other golf instruction services such as a Golf School or private instruction.
